Second Semester Schedule

• Jan. 25-31: Welcome back - get documents for editing
• Feb. 1-7: Meet with sponsor. Plan initial control panel interface.
• Feb. 8-15: Research XLib programming, design of control panel (look)
• Feb. 22-28: Plan for testing in DRES. Research XLib programming, design of control panel (linking current code for keyboard options)
• Mar. 1-7: Research XZoom plan, program control panel and prepare for debugging
• Mar. 8-12: Xerox XZoom resources, get computer ready for alpha test with control panel. Send alpha to redhat for testing.
• Mar. 13-21: SPRING BREAK!!
• Mar. 22-28: Work on control panel bugs. Write XZoom plan.
• Mar. 29-Apr. 4: Work on Control panel. Work on design improvments. Make user profiles linked correctly.
• Apr. 4-11: Finish rough draft for XZoom report. Send to outside resources for criticism. Work on control panel bugs. Continue testing. Release beta version 1.
• Apr. 12-18: Fix rough draft for XZoom report. Continue testing. Release Beta version 2 of control panel/accessibility features.
• Apr. 19-25: Finish XZoom report. Send beta3 to Redhat. Prepare decumentation and MAN pages.
• Apr. 26-May 2: Send final build of control panel/accessibility package. Send to GNU licenced sites.
• May 2-9: Send XZoom design to through the internet. Prepare preposal for XZoom group for next year. Finish final report.
• We plan on being done by this time - final report and all!
• We're graduating!!! Yeah!

  Next Semester Requirements:

  • Fix mouse key acceleration bug.
  • Allow events to be trapped in the magnify program.
  • Distribute the program to as many sources as possible.
  • Add more features to the control panel.
  • Research speech programs.
