Project Description:
The goal of this project is to develop an application that will enable to take payments for camps, classes, field trips, special events as well as donations via Paypal from Museum's website via an application that includes customizable templates and can generate XML files containing the data captured in the transaction for import into our Giftworks database and Quickbooks.
Museum employees used to update their records manually. We intend to make the process more automated and easy to use for employees of the Orpheum Museum and visitors with no technical experience. Also, when everything is moving towards online technologies and e-commerce payment, creating e-commerce web-site for the Museum may bring more potential customers to it and broaden the audience.
