Work Meeting 4-3-2008

Today we are meeting to discuss some of the testing data we have received and trying to put it into some form of documentation. We will also be discussing how to split up sections of the final paper. You Lin and Chih-Wei will be looking to resolve issues that Mr. Newby has brought up regarding the tracker in the bit torrent project.

Work Meeting 3-24-2008

Today was a short meeting between the group to talk about any issues we had encountered over break and figure out what needs to be done. We had intended to reach out to the client and get in touch with some testing subjects, but I was unable to receive any feedback regarding getting volunteers. We will be continuing using local volunteers. We were able to get some feedback regarding seeding issues that You Lin and Chih-Wei had been working on. Mr. Newby mentioned that he would be working with it.

Work Meeting 3-12-2008

Today seeding issues will be discussed between You Lin and Chih-Wei, hopefully a viable solution can be decided upon and implementation can begin. The Facebook team needs to decide on any final touches we need to put on the project and implement those. We will also go through the 'final push' document from Prof. Woodley and decide on a time frame for the finishing touches, and who will be responsible for what.

Work Meeting 2-10-2008

The bit torrent project is being moved to its new home, Darren's files will be preserved for test and back up. The Facebook project is currently tweaking its recent additions, the ability to add quotes to the database and functionality that allows users to search for existing quotes on the database. Documentation must also be created for these new additions before testing can begin.

Work Meeting 2-4-2008

Tony, You Lin, and I gathered to work on a number of things. Adding quotes is a major priority for this meeting. I also proofreaded the torrent pages and made changes to Guidelines. I also worked on created a custom search engine for the torrent collection pages.

New Spring Site Goes Live! 1-30-2008

This site has been changed! All meetings will now be documented here in the news and placed in the meeting archive which can be reached by the Meeting Archive link on the left. The Fall site and links are still available with old meeting notes. -Albert


Work Meeting 1-28-2008

Tony, You Lin, and I completed work on the Send Quotes functionality. Facebook application users can now send saved quotes to other friends from their list of Saved Quotes, these quotes will be arrive in a request on the user's homepage, and can be viewed at the Inbox tab inside the application.
