Plan for Week of March 3

Unfortunately, there was miscommunication and we were not able to meet with Professor Johnson last week to discuss our project. However, we have resolved our configuration issues and we are all able to acess and modify the code. We have the model for the discipline and interest tree working. In addition, publications are close to being done as well.

Plan for Week of February 25

We were not able to have a meeting last week with the client. We have had trouble getting the VM for development. This is due to the fact that the Scholar Network is hosted on a system owned by a group member that left. Hopefully, we will have the appropiate configurations soon so that we can proceed further. We plan on implementing the top 5 features requested by the client, despite the current issues.

The css is complete. We are currently working on getting a VM for development.

Plan for Week of February 11

The interest tree is nearly complete. Last week, we had no meetings with the client. Our meetings pick up again this week. At our next meeting, we will be giving a presentation of our progress which will definitely include the interest tree.

Plan for Week of February 4

We have a scheduled out the first month of coding that needs to be done. We have been given detailed requirements on what the Scholar Network needs to contain. We have also been given the taxonomies. We still need a more complete schedule. Coding has begun in full force and will most likely continue for the rest of the semester. Our client is currently out of town so we have not met in 2 weeks.

Plan for Week of December 3

We have scheduled a meeting with our on campus contact for this Tuesday. We will meet with him and show him a presentation. We will have him review our Requirements Document so that we can make it more specific. Not everyone in our group has access to our client's server, so we will continue to speak with our client about this.

We familiarized ourselves with CGML, Common Ground's own markup language. Unfortunately, due to exams, we were unable to have our weekly meeting. However, we have two meetings this week. We hope to solidify the requirements document more and continue working on the next phase of development.

Plan for Week of November 5

We had our weekly meeting with our sponsor via Skype. We have uploaded the initial project into the respository, and are staged for more development. We also plan on continuing to flesh out the requirements document as much as possible. Furthermore, we plan on starting the next phase of development as stated on the requirements document.

We met last week with our sponser via Skype. This week, we will continue our weekly meeting with Liam. In addition, we will initiate weekly meetings with Bill Cope. We also plan on continuing to flesh out the requirements document as much as possible.

We plan to revise the requirements document with some added specifications. We also plan to start a weekly Skype meeting with our sponser. The time for those meetings is still undetermined. We also plan to move ahead and start working on the first draft of the project. The details of the draft is in the requirements document in the menu.

We have the final version of our requirements document. We also have a rough sketch of the first draft of the Scholar Network project. This week, we plan to have a meeting with our sponser via Skype and continue developing our application.

This week we are going to add more detail to our requirements document. We also plan to meet with our sponsor via Skype. This week everyone in our group should have access to the Trac and SVN provided by Common Ground.

The requirments gathering process will continue. We had another meeting last week with Bill Cope who works for Common Ground at Research Park. We wil familiarize ourselves with Ruby on Rails. We will also begin to sketch out the framework of the application.

We will meet with our sponsor this week on Tuesday at 5pm. We have access to the SVN and Trac now. We will continue to work on our Requirements Document and begin the foundation of our application.
